NASA Glenn tests

In 1998,  coannular jet experiments at NASA Glenn Research Center, conducted by Dr. K.B.M.Q. Zaman, verified the instability phenomenon associated with MESPI and provided valuable data for further understanding of the phenomenon and for quantifying mixing enhancement.   The nozzles used in the NASA tests had the same generic shape as the UCI nozzles but were three times larger.

Dr. Zaman's study is published in paper AIAA-2000-0094.
